This is a 200+ year old fruit tree that sits beside this dirt road on a farm outside of LaGrange. 4x5 negative scan seen here after slight color correction and sizing. The gradiation of colors seen on the ground and the grunge in various places are the result of an alternate scanning process that I have invented--they were not added in PS

Nice desolate feel. You could feel pretty lonely there. But nice shot, even like how the tree Is leaning away from the center.

this is a very lonely shot. lovely though, with the hints of blue and yellow tint in spots. I like how it's not really centered on the road nor the tree.

the colouring really makes this photo look like it was taken a long time ago.. or someone dropped the film in the swamp. :laughing: i like the border, it really suits.

but.. this is hardly a road. its more a goat trail!

all of these features really make the whole place look abandoned and convey a strong feeling of lonelyness.

The mood of this peice is gorgeous.. So lonely, and being left behind. The imperfections make it interesting, as well. Its great. Keep up the good work.
